I am not one of those moms who enjoys busting out the paints. The boys constantly beg me to let them paint and occasionally I cave. It has been a while. They were asking me a few weeks after I had the baby and that was a definite 'no.' I have been feeling more capable of dealing with requests to make messes lately so their request was granted.
Jacob invented this handy shirt cover. I asked if he learned this at school. Nope, he just came up with it on his own. I love how resourceful he is!
They each painted 4 pictures on the paper I gave them. When that ran out, they got paper towels and painted their hands to make hand prints. Then they hung all of that artwork on the refrigerator. The best part of this experience..they used all the paint!! I'll be sure and replenish that as soon as possible..haha!
