I am starting to realize we can't possibly keep all of these cute little crafts the boys make at school. So I am snapping pictures of them as they come in the door with them so when they get torn up from being left on the floor and stepped on, I won't feel so guilty about tossing them!
Last Monday, I went to see my doctor. She discussed the results of my ultrasound and we decided on December 13th for my induction date for a number of reasons.
1. I don't want to miss Christmas with my boys because I'm stuck in the hospital.
2. Hunter arrived VERY quickly, forcing me to deliver Au Naturale..something I NEVER want to experience again! I'm afraid if I wait to go on my own, I will be having the baby in the car and without an epidural. The thought of either makes me shudder.
3. My babies are REALLY big. My doctor is worried about shoulders getting stuck. No thank you! According to my ultrasound a few weeks ago, the baby measured at 7 lbs. 5 ounces, give or take a pound. I'm sure it would be "give" since they tend to be on the larger side. Also, due to his size, the projected due date was December 9th. I know this is only because I have really big babies and that I probably would deliver on my own closer to my original projected due date if left on my own.
4. Apparently I have that group strep B or whatever it's called and my doctor thinks that because I go so fast, I won't have time to get the antibiotics before I deliver.
So, we were already planning on doing an induction, but now we have a few more reasons! I am excited and nervous all at the same time. My time to get things done has just been shortened by about a week (I originally thought I would be induced the next weekend). So, I have been nesting like crazy to get my list of things done as the clock continues to run out. It has been an exhausting week and I'm sure that's what's in store for this last final week before he comes! I keep hoping he doesn't come earlier and give me less time for my projects! We can't wait to meet him though. We are all SO excited!

Holy Cow - he's coming so soon! I have Strep B with every baby and I usually earn an extra night in the hospital because of it (which I like for the extra day of rest). Good luck and I'll be bringing dinner by soon!
