Blankie Washing Day

Adam can hardly stand to be away from his blankie for any length of time while we are home. It was time for a wash so I had him bring it to me. I set it for the quickest wash possible. Within 30 seconds after starting the washer, he was telling me, "mommy blankie ready!" He has been camped out in the laundry room ever since I started the washer 14 minutes ago, standing watch and periodically announcing "blankie is ready!" It is done in 4 minutes, but then we have to wait for the dryer. It has to be torture for a 2 year old to wait for a wash & dry cycle!
