Well it took a lot longer than we thought it would, but Hunter finally lost his first tooth today. It has been loose for a LONG time. On Sunday, we noticed his new tooth was growing in rather far behind his baby tooth. I have been thinking we need to just get it out so maybe his new tooth will move forward more. I was telling this to my neighbor and long-time friend but told her it was too bad Trevor & I were both too chicken to pull it ourselves. It makes Trevor squeamish and it reminds me of all of my torturous cleanings & fillings in the dental chair over the years. She offered to pull it for us and I immediately headed over. She got it out in about 15 seconds and Hunter was very brave. He said it only hurt for a second. Now he is one excited boy, anticipating his first visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight. He has been dreaming of this night as long as Jacob has been losing teeth. I am excited because I know FOR SURE the Tooth Fairy is not going to forget to come tonight as she has a few times in the past for Jacob.
